⁴²They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. ⁴³Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. ⁴⁴All the believers were together and had everything in common. ⁴⁵They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. ⁴⁶Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, ⁴⁷praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

A Community of Trust & Servanthood (ACTS)

Sitting in the downpour after work yesterday, I was reminded of God's faithfulness. This past Sunday we had our potluck at Magic Island with Amber and her halmeoni (grandma). We had prayed for no rain at our small group on Saturday and we could not have asked for anything more than what we were blessed with. Not only was there no rain until everyone got home safely, we were also blessed with clear skies, lots of shade and a wonderful breeze as well. It was so great to see so many of our friends & their families and get the opportunity to share a meal together. (See photos) In true ACTS fashion we had an abundance of food for all with lots of leftovers. Thanks to everyone who was able to come out and share the day with us.

We are less than 71 days away from our retreat! Don't forget we will be meeting this Saturday @ the Wangs' to pray and plan for the retreat. (more details) Please let stu know if you will be able to join us so we can make sure there will be enough pizza for everyone. We will also be planning a worship night prior to the retreat to prepare our hearts before the Lord. Stay tuned and be sure to check out our ACTS website for more details. - stu

Retreat Planning Get Together
This Saturday, August 29 @ 4:30 PM, we will be gathering at the Wangs' to pray and discuss the vision of the upcoming retreat. If you are interested in helping with the retreat, learning more about the retreat, or just want to hang out then come join us for a good time of fellowship and serving together! ACTS Never Let Go 2015 Retreat
